Jakarta – Amidst the global pandemic, CAC program implementation in Indonesia continues to grow strong. On 1 July 2020, CAC established its own Advisory Committee consisted of several business associations such as KNKG (National Committee on Governance Policy), and 5 (five) Business Associations: KADIN (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry), AEI (Indonesian Public Listed Companies Association), APINDO (Employers' Association of Indonesia), IBL (Indonesia Business Links), and PERBANAS. The chairman of each association joins the virtual establishment meeting. FBN (Yayasan Fitrah Bisnis Keluarga Nusantara) and IGCN (Indonesia Global Compact Network) also convey their interest to join the committee but due to prior engagement could not attend this virtual establishment meeting yet.
The meeting was also attended by the representative from Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) to show their support for the coalition. The meeting has officially established the CAC Advisory Committee and appointed Mr. Erry Riyana Hardjapamekas as the Chair of the Committee. The establishment of this committee is a step closer to finally grow the coalition and encourage fellow companies to be aware of this business anti-corruption movement. (01/07/2020)
